The law of attraction is directly proportional to the more of a jerk the person is and it doesn't just apply to men. Jerk maybe a masculine word, still it is a gender neutral name, women can be just as much a jerk as a man can be.
Infact, women can be even more manipulative than men at times and that is a big thing to say being a woman. Let us just talk about "The Jerk Theory", like I would call it.
So, even if we might be thr smartest people in the entire world but when it comes to attraction, feelings, love, we just lose our brains. The more shitty a person treats us, the more attracted we are towards him/her. The more he/she manipulates us, the more we fall for him/her.
This thing will never be understood whether it is the tendency or some "chemical reaction" in us or god has just made us like that but it is a downright cruel thing. It is quite similar to hitting your head in the wall even though you know iy will hurt, bad.
And however hard you train your brain to fall for the nice person, your heart will always intervene and have its way.
