Atypical

In an era of Netflix and Amazon Prime, where TV series and movies are so accessible, we do try to binge as much as we can but do we ever take any learning from them? In this time where each person is depressed in their own way, we always try to hide that in fear of what people may think if they know. We hide our sorrow behind pretty smiles and work our asses off, party hard and not let ourselves be free at dreading that we might fall into the pit of darkness that we have created within ourselves and would not be able to climb out of it this time.
All these TV shows and movies serve a purpose for the audience and it would be so easy if we actually inculcate those learning in ourselves and our lives. While I feel inspired after watching Netflix's original series, Atypical, it is not about depression but it surely helps. It is okay to ask for help sometimes even we are embarrassed to because we are not alone. We have a family who loves us and friends who care about us. It is not necessary to have a lot of friends but the few friends you have made throughout the years, who have stood by you in difficult times surely want to help you out. And family who is the most important part of your life stands by you even if you are angry or embarrassed with how things have turned out for you or what mistakes have you done. It is perfectly okay to rely on them and not carry the whole weight of the world on your shoulders.
You might not be normal, in fact who is in this world, but these are the people who accept you the way you are and love you. Fortunately, God only makes you suffer as much as you can handle and gives you at least one person in your life who you can rely on. Always remember, Quality is more than Quantity. Not everyone can be your friend and not everybody has to be because you are special. Even if you thought a person will end up being your best friend for life, they might not, because not everybody deserves you. Stop trying to control situations and people as whatever is meant to be will be. By forcing something, all you lose is your self respect.
A wise friend of mine once said, "Our feelings are valuable enough to not let other people control them or hurt them. Value your emotions and respect yourself." He is not wrong you know. Never let someone new be more important that you or your emotions. Forgive such people because they never deserved to be in your life and they aren't even important to hold grudges against. Love yourself, value yourself and ask for help from your family and friends whenever you need and things will just fall into place. Stay strong and stay positive. It is easier said than done but practice makes a man perfect. Actually, not perfect, because we are not machines but practice will make you better and you will get there in time. Just be patient and don't put so much pressure on yourself all the time.

  1. The world is huge, and as we are employee IDs for companies, so are we just a cell for the world. People stand out only for their achievements. Will someone still know Jeff Bezos when he is bankrupt apart from the debtors? Certainly the person whom he might advised and if the person gets successful, he might visit Jeff in his bad days.

Life is all about fighting with your own self , making yourself better, helping a little selflessly and probably collecting grace from all around

    1. Life without people who love you gets lonely, doesn't it? Its always good to have people who truly support you no matter where you are in your life.
