Trainwreck
While train wreck is a fairly common word for disastrous situations, one of my favorite movies used it as its title. It is about a commitment-phobic woman who finally faces her fears when meeting a good guy. Cheesy right? But it just happens to be that movies rarely portray a commitment-phobic woman because women are supposed to be emotional and clingy and it’s the men who are supposed to be commitment-phobic because they are not so in touch with their emotions and should hold shit like cheating parent, abandonment issues, cheating partner, etc over the head of every girl they meet for the next hundred years. Anyways, this is the movie that finally puts across the fact that women can be commitment phobic too because like we say women are emotional and we get affected by things like that too and we are also allowed to hold that over men for the next hundred years like men do but we don’t.
